Sharleen Cainer

Registered Social Worker 

Sharleen Cainer is presently in private practice, providing Social Work and Psychotherapy to clients who have sustained Traumatic Acquired Brain Injuries and/or complex trauma. She is experienced in treating individuals with Chronic Pain, Addictions, various mental illness, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and concurrent mental health disorders resulting from catastrophic injury.  Ms. Cainer also provides individual, family and group therapy.  Clients are offered a wide range of therapeutic modalities including, but not limited, to Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness, and Crisis Management. Ms. Cainer is highly experienced in working with various population groups in numerous settings. She has expertise working with Indigenous Populations and has been recognized by the United Nations for her instrumental work with the Ouje Bougoumou, Cree Nation.

Angela Gray

Registered Social Worker 

Angela Gray is a registered Social Worker with a Bachelors Degree in Social Work from McMaster University. Prior to which, she gained Certification as a Yoga Instructor and Reiki Practitioner. Angela continues to extend her academic and practical skills through continued education including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and energy healing work.  She has extensive clinical experience, supporting individuals at the North Hamilton Community Health Clinic as a licensed therapist, as well as front-line work with youth at risk of homelessness. At the Federal level, she has worked with women at the Grand Valley Institute in Kitchener. Angela is also an active member in good standing with both the Canadian and Ontario Associations of Social Workers.

Elyse McCreadie

Registered Social Worker 

Elyse McCreadie is a Registered Social Worker in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) and the Ontario Association of Social Workers (OASW).  During this time she focused on facilitating community action and education towards ending gender-based violence both on campus and within the greater Niagara Region.  She focused on implementing tools to empower people while they navigate systems and services within their communities.

Currently, she carries an additional role in Southern Ontario as a Clinician with at-risk youth. Additionally, Elyse has over eleven years of experience working as a mentor for neurodiverse populations, chemically dependent individuals (adolescents and adults), adults with catastrophic injuries, chronic pain, and acquired brain injury within community settings. Lastly, she is versed in providing therapeutic care with a combined approach using Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Multisystemic Therapy (MST), as well as, with the conduction of comprehensive and holistic assessments to meet the needs of people and within their ecological systems.

Tracy Gostlow

Registered Social Worker

Tracy Gostlow has been working in the Mental Health sector for 11+ years and is a member in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW). Tracy obtained her Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Niagara University and since that time has received training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Narrative Family Therapy, and Prolonged Exposure Therapy. She has experience working with youth and adult clients who have experienced addiction issues, mental health impairments and disorders, and those who have sustained both non-catastrophic and catastrophic injuries including acquired brain injuries and poly-trauma. Tracy works from a supportive, integrative and empathic approach in her Psychotherapy practice. 

Angeli Sareen

Registered Social Worker

Angeli Sareen is a registered Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s Degree from the University of Toronto. Ms. Sareen has worked with an array of clients including youth, adults and seniors who are facing mental health concerns, either diagnosed or undiagnosed. She believes in fostering an emotionally safe and welcoming environment for clients to feel comfortable disclosing their thoughts and feelings. Her clinical practice has taken a specialized client-focused approach on supporting people who are facing trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, loneliness and stress management.  Ms. Sareen is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness and suicide intervention training. She works together with her clients to determine the best approach for their goal-focused treatment.

Elizabeth McLeod

Registered Dietitian

Elizabeth is a Registered Dietitian with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from Western University. She completed her dietetic internship in 2018 at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre which included intensive clinical rotations in oncology, nephrology, critical care and general medicine. 

 

Elizabeth has worked with patients striving for general health, weight loss, improved digestion, diabetes management and a host of other goals. She has completed training including Craving Change cognitive-behavioural program designed to help individuals become more aware of their eating triggers. She believes in a food first, client-centered approach and looks forward to helping you move towards your best health.
